PRIMITIVE PANSIES CANDLES
In the 17th and 18th centuries, chandlers crafted candles with dedication, using a variety of ingredients, with beeswax being especially treasured for its rarity. These exquisite candles were celebrated for their delightful fragrance and warm, inviting glow. At Primitive Panies Candles, we honor those time-honored techniques, painstakingly hand-rolling each candle to create unique markings and a truly distinctive appearance. You can trust that our candles are entirely soot-free, environmentally safe, and of the highest quality. When lit, a beeswax candle serves as a natural purifier for the air you breathe. With their beautiful fragrance, our candles will infuse your home with warmth and serenity, whether lit or unlit.
PRIMITIVE PANSIES SOAPS AND SPRAYS
In 1947, my dear friend's grandmother discovered her soap recipe on the back of a can of lye, a product that was once a staple in many households. For over 50 years, she meticulously crafted her soap, using simple ingredients that were often sourced from her garden and local markets. Today, 25 years later, we are fortunate to have access to a stunning array of exotic oils, vibrant colors, and delightful scents from every corner of the globe, all readily available with just a click to be delivered to our doorsteps.
I feel incredibly fortunate to indulge in the art of soap-making purely for the joy it brings me, a luxury that many before us engaged in out of sheer necessity. While modern technology has undeniably transformed this craft into an accessible hobby, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to those artisans who have kept the tradition alive. Their dedication in passing down techniques, sharing cherished family recipes, and even the ancient practice of leaching water through wood ash to create lye, has paved the way for us to explore our creativity in such a meaningful way. Their legacy is woven into each bar of soap we create, highlighting the connection between past and present in this timeless craft.
